Learn how to apply the antecedent behaviour consequence model to understand what drives our children's actions. Please join us with one challenging behaviour in mind!

Karen McCabe M.Ed. is a teacher and mother of three. She has been an educator in private and public schools, for typical and atypical learners, and for students pre K through third grade. As a learning resource teacher Karen collaborated with various specialists to develop learning plans and implement instruction for students with learning differences.

Georgie Wisen-Vincent, LMFT RPT-S, is a Pediatric Psychotherapist, Registered Play Therapist, and the Director of the Early Child Program at The Center for Connection. She helps parents and children build strong relationships that support healthy development, calmer regulation, and more emotional resilience and creativity.

Dr. Mona Delahooke, PhD, is a pediatric psychologist who specializes in relationship-based neurodevelopmental support for young children. She has written two books, including Beyond Behaviors, full of compassionate insight and a new approach to understanding and handling children's feelings and behaviors informed by research.

Parent Ed - Showing Up for School Integration

Susan Savitt Schwarz from Integrated Schools will join us for a conversation exploring the importance of considering our personal beliefs and biases in choosing schools for our children.

“The language we use when discussing school quality often serves to mask what are actually conversations about race and privilege. Changing the conversation around integration is not easy, but we are empowered by the belief that integration is not a sacrifice of our own children but rather an investment in the future of all children and the world we want for our kids. We believe that our kids are better off outside of a segregated bubble, and that learning with children from all backgrounds makes great people and great schools.”(from the IntegratedSchools.org “about” page).
